FC Dynamo Odesa
FC Dynamo Odesa is an amateur football club from Odesa. It is seen as a predecessor of FC Chornomorets Odesa, along with Pishchevik. The club began in 1926, based on the local team Sparta Odesa, which started in 1923. Dynamo Odesa played in the Soviet Top League (Group A) for the 1938–1939 seasons. In 1940 the club was dissolved and its players joined Pishchevik, which had risen to Group B, the Soviet second tier, from Ukrainian regional competitions. After World War II, Dynamo Odesa was revived and competed in regional Odesa Oblast competitions.
