Export is a small borough in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, completely surrounded by Murrysville. It spans about 0.4 square miles of land and had a population of around 893–894 people in 2020. The town was incorporated in 1911 and got its name from coal mining and exporting that happened there. A post office has served Export since 1892. Behind the District Court building, you can still see the remains of the Westmoreland Coal Company's South mine, with three entrances found in 2018 and a fourth rediscovered in 2019. Export is part of the Franklin Regional School District, which includes two elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. The borough is also home to Free Gospel Bible Institute, a holiness Pentecostal college founded in 1958.
