Eva Van Der Gucht
Eva Van der Gucht (born 1 September 1977 in Mortsel, Belgium) is a Belgian actress. She graduated in 2000 from the Amsterdam Theater and Drama Academy. While still studying, she was chosen to star in Everybody’s Famous!, which was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar in 2001. Since then she has built an international career in film, television and theatre.
On television, she’s known for series such as S1ngle, Connie & Clyde, Den elfde van den elfde, Oogappels, Klokhuis, Hunter Street and the improvisation program De vloer op. In film, she appeared in Kursk, The Family Claus, Amnesia, North Sea Texas, Cool Kids Don’t Cry, Dik Trom, Hallo Bungalow, Oude liefde and more. In theatre, she has performed in plays from Shakespeare to Chekhov with companies including Het Ro Theater, Orkater, de Toneelmakerij, Oostpool and de Spelerij. She has acted in more than forty films since 2000.
