Eurybia kingii, also known as King’s aster or King’s serpentweed, is a small flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. It is a North American species found only in Utah.

Description:
- It’s a perennial herb, usually not more than 12 centimeters tall, growing from a woody underground base.
- It has flower heads in small groups of 1–5. Each head holds 13–27 white or lavender ray florets around 29–47 yellow disc florets.

Taxonomy:
- First named Aster kingii in 1871 by Daniel Cady Eaton.
- Over time it has been placed in other genera (Tonestus kingii, Herrickia kingii), but many classifications now call it Eurybia kingii.
- Common names reflect this history: King’s aster and King’s serpentweed.

Range:
- Endemic to Utah, known from seven western counties: Box Elder, Cache, Webber, Salt Lake, Utah, Juab, and Millard.

Conservation:
- NatureServe lists it as Vulnerable (G3) both globally and within Utah since 1999.
