Erica conferta is a flowering plant in the heath family (Ericaceae). It belongs to the genus Erica and is part of the fynbos, a unique vegetation type in the Western Cape of South Africa. The species is endemic to the Western Cape, meaning it occurs naturally only there. It has been known by synonyms Desmia conferta and Ericoides confertum.
