Emerson was a provincial electoral district in Manitoba, Canada. Created in 1879, it existed for many years and was eliminated before the 2019 general election. Most of its area became part of the Borderland riding, while the eastern part joined La Verendrye.

Geography and communities: Emerson lay in southeastern Manitoba, bordered to the north by Carman, Morris, Steinbach, and La Verendrye; to the west by Pembina; to the east by Ontario; and to the south by North Dakota. The district included the communities of Emerson, Altona, Dominion City, Rhineland, Gretna, Woodridge, and St. Jean Baptiste.

Demographics and economy: The riding had about 20,370 people in 2008. In 2011, the average family income was around $61,951 and unemployment was about 2.9%. The economy relied on agriculture (about 24%) and manufacturing (about 16%). More than a quarter (roughly 27%) of residents had less than a Grade 9 education.

Ethnicity and language: About 51% of residents listed English as their mother tongue. Approximately 26% identified as German, French, Ukrainian, Polish, or Mennonite, and about 5% were Indigenous.
