Eglė Balčiūnaitė is a Lithuanian track and field athlete who runs middle distances, mainly the 400 metres and 800 metres. She was born on October 31, 1988, in Šiauliai, Lithuania.

Her best times are 53.47 seconds in the indoor 400m (2010), 2:01.37 in the indoor 800m (2010), and 1:59.29 in the outdoor 800m (2010). She also set a Lithuanian indoor 800m record of 2:01.23 in 2011, and her 400m indoor record of 53.47 stood as the national indoor record for eight years until 2018. She competed for Lithuania at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2016 Rio Olympics. In 2010 she became the first Lithuanian to reach the World Indoor Championships final, finishing fifth in Doha. She won bronze in the 800m at the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, and finished 12th in the 800m at the 2017 World Championships in London. She also placed 6th in the 2009 European U23 Championships in Kaunas.

Balčiūnaitė announced her retirement from professional sport in January 2023 at the age of 34. She received a special prize from the Lithuanian Athletics Federation in Palanga in early 2023. She comes from the Šiauliai Pietinis district.
