Edinho, born Arnaldo Edi Lopes da Silva on 7 July 1982 in Aveiro, Portugal, is a former professional footballer who played as a striker. He stood 1.82 meters tall and had a long career across Portugal, Greece, Spain and Turkey.

He began in youth football with Almada and Vitória de Setúbal, moving into senior football with Almada. After a period with Braga and two loan spells (Paços de Ferreira and Gil Vicente), he joined Vitória de Setúbal in 2007. In 2008 he was loaned to AEK Athens in Greece, where he impressed and later joined them permanently.

In 2009 Edinho signed with Málaga in Spain. He spent time on loan at PAOK in Greece and at Marítimo in Portugal, then returned to Portugal with Académica on loan in 2012. He went back to Braga in 2013, and later played in Turkey for Kayseri Erciyesspor and Şanlıurfaspor. He returned to Portugal with Vitória de Setúbal, then played for Feirense, Cova da Piedade, Torreense, Villa Athletic and Olímpico Montijo before retiring in 2023 at 41.

Overall, Edinho appeared in 504 club matches and scored 156 goals. In the Primeira Liga, he played 11 seasons and scored 49 goals for Braga, Paços de Ferreira, Vitória de Setúbal, Marítimo, Académica and Feirense. Internationally, he earned six caps for Portugal and scored three goals; he also played three games for Portugal U21.

Edinho is of Guinea-Bissauan descent. After retiring, he became Vitória de Setúbal’s director of football in July 2023.
