Edin Bašić, born 4 May 1979 in Zavidovići, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a Bosnian handball player who played as a right-handed centre back. He is 1.90 m tall. He began at Borac Travnik, where he won the domestic league and cup, and later played for Zamet Autotrans (1999–2001), TV Endingen (2001–2003), TV Suhr (2003–2007), GC Amicitia Zurich (2007–2009), and Chambéry Savoie Handball (2009–present). He earned 60 caps and scored 146 goals for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Career highlights include two Croatian Cup finals with Zamet, participation in the 1998–99 EHF Champions League, two Swiss league titles and one Swiss Cup with GC Amicitia Zurich, and reaching the EHF Cup semi-finals with Chambéry in 2015–16.
