EQUIL2 is software that estimates the risk of kidney stones. It analyzes urine data—how much is excreted, how concentrated substances are, and how saturated minerals are—to assess stone formation. The output is a PSF score (probability of stone formation) or similar measures. In some studies, another program called SUPERSAT can provide more accurate values for certain parameters, such as relative supersaturation (RSS).
