Diana Choyleva

Diana Choyleva is an economist who specializes in China’s economy and politics. She was born in Bulgaria and moved to the United Kingdom after studying economics at Sofia University. She earned a Master’s degree at the University of Warwick. Choyleva worked for Lombard Street Research for several years before starting her own firm in 2016: Enodo Economics, an independent macroeconomic forecasting consultancy focused on China. She writes opinion pieces for outlets such as the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, and Nikkei Asian Review. She is also a member of the Political Economy Club.
