Deep-water hap
Deep-water hap (Placidochromis electra) is a cichlid fish found only in Lake Malawi. It prefers sandy areas at about 7 meters deep and grows up to 12 cm in length. The species is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN and is sometimes kept in home aquariums. It has also been known by the names Haplochromis electra and Cyrtocara electra.
