Daybreak (Béla Fleck album)
Daybreak is a compilation album by American banjoist Béla Fleck, released in 1987. The music blends Americana, bluegrass, and folk and runs for 64 minutes and 37 seconds. It was released on Rounder Records and produced by Béla Fleck. In Fleck’s discography, it comes after Inroads (1986) and before Drive (1988). Daybreak shows Fleck merging bluegrass with other genres, a direction that helped lead to the Flecktones in the 1990s. All tracks were written by Béla Fleck, except where noted.
