Dark Lies the Island
Dark Lies the Island is the second collection of short stories by Irish writer Kevin Barry. His previous collection, There Are Little Kingdoms, won the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature and was shortlisted for the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award. Barry also wrote the screenplay for a film adaptation titled Dark Lies the Island, about a long-running family feud in a small Irish town. The film was released in October 2019.
