Curious George is an American children’s animated series based on the Curious George books. It’s a sequel to the 2006 Curious George film and centers on a curious little monkey named George and his friend, the Man with the Yellow Hat. The show features George voiced by Frank Welker and the Man with the Yellow Hat voiced by Jeff Bennett. It premiered on PBS Kids on September 4, 2006, ran until April 1, 2015, returned in 2018, and ended on March 17, 2022 after 15 seasons and 198 episodes (400 segments plus 3 specials).

The series was produced by Imagine Entertainment, Universal Animation Studios, and WGBH Boston (through season 12), with some seasons animated by Toon City. In early seasons, each half-hour episode had two animated stories plus a live-action STEM short illustrating science concepts; the live-action segments were phased out after season 9. George and the Man live in a city apartment (the city is unnamed but similar to New York) and sometimes visit a country house near Lake Wanasinklake. The show is also set around locations like a museum, a restaurant, a toy store, a bakery, and a supermarket. A Very Monkey Christmas, a 2009 television film, is part of the Curious George specials.

In the United States, the show aired on PBS Kids and later streams on Peacock and Hulu, with Peacock hosting the later seasons. In Canada, it aired on CBC Kids and Family Jr. On September 30, 2024, PBS member stations stopped airing the series, though it remains on the PBS Kids 24/7 network.
