Cosipara stereostigma
Cosipara stereostigma is a small moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Harrison Gray Dyar Jr. in 1918 and is found in Xalapa and Orizaba, Mexico, as well as in Guatemala. The wingspan is about 12 mm. Forewings are grey with blackish speckles, featuring a dark base mark and an inner whitish line followed by a blackish shade. Hindwings are pale whitish, darker at the edge. Adults have been seen on the wing in July. It was previously named Scoparia stereostigma.
