Proud Miss Stakes
Proud Miss Stakes is a Group 3 Thoroughbred horse race at Morphettville Racecourse in South Australia. It began in 2004 as Pink Diamond. The race is for fillies and mares aged three years and older, run under set weights with penalties, over 1,200 metres on turf on a left-handed track. The prize money is A$150,000 (2025). The event is sponsored by Sportsbet (2025). It takes place during the SAJC Autumn Carnival on the last day, on The Goodwood race card. The race is named after Proud Miss, a brilliant South Australian filly who won nine straight races before finishing second in the 1962 Golden Slipper Stakes.
