Christopher Wollter
Christopher Wollter (born 5 February 1972 in Brunna, Upplands-Bro, Sweden) is a Swedish actor and singer. He grew up in Lund and studied at Kulturama in Stockholm before attending the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg, graduating in 1997.
His first big stage role was Marius Pontmercy in Les Misérables. He has also played Chris in Miss Saigon at Malmö Opera, and has appeared in My Fair Lady at Oscarsteatern, Evita, Freddie in Chess, Riff in West Side Story, and the title role in Doctor Zhivago. He performed in Elda! Elda! Elda! at Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra and in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. From 2017 to 2018 he played Georg von Trapp in The Sound of Music at Nöjesteatern in Malmö.
Wollter’s film debut was Suxxess (2002). He appeared in The Reunion (2013), which won the Guldbagge Award for Best Film. On television, he has starred in Häxdansen (2008), Modus (2015), Greyzone (2018), and Quicksand (2019), and has taken part in entertainment shows. He has also done concert work, including Brel möter Piaf (2018) with Åsa Fång, and performed as a soloist with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra for SVT’s Trettondagskonsert at Berwaldhallen. He wrote and performed the self-written monologue Göran och Kärleke.
He is married to actress Julia Dufvenius, and they have two children. His great-uncle was actor Sven Wollter. He is set to compete as a celebrity dancer in Let’s Dance 2025 on TV4.
