Charlie “Choo Choo” Brown is a former American boxer from Philadelphia who fought in the lightweight division. He turned professional in 1979 and is 5 ft 6 in tall with an orthodox style. In 1984, Brown won the IBF lightweight title by defeating Melvin Paul for the vacant belt. He lost the title in his first defense later that year to Harry Arroyo in a fight refereed by Larry Hazzard.

Brown did not win another major title and retired in 1993 after 11 straight losses. His career record includes 44 fights, 26 wins (18 by knockout), 16 losses, and 2 draws.
