Chamanpura
Chamanpura is a village in the Beri tehsil of Jhajjar district, Haryana, India. It lies on the Rohtak–Jhajjar road near Dujana village and is governed by an elected Sarpanch. The village is mostly Hindu, while the eastern area around Gulbarg Society has had a Muslim majority. On 28 February 2002, the Gulbarg Society massacre occurred here, in which 69 people were killed, including former Congress MP Ehsan Jafri.
