Chaetosciadium is a small group of flowering plants in the carrot family (Apiaceae). It is a monotypic genus, meaning it contains only one species: Chaetosciadium trichospermum. This plant is native to the Middle East, including Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and Saudi Arabia, and it is common in Israel. It has had several different scientific names in the past, but Chaetosciadium trichospermum is the accepted name today.
