Central Airmen Selection Board

Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB) is the body that selects personnel for the Indian Air Force (IAF) below officer ranks. It runs recruitment rallies, conducts tests, and designs standard selection processes for enrolling Airmen, Agniveer Vayu, and Non-Combatants across various trades.

History and objective
- CASB was formed in May 1980 at Air Force Station New Delhi (AFND) under the direct control of Air HQs.
- In 1996 it moved to Brar Square, Naraina, Delhi.
- It is led by an Air Commodore who serves as President CASB.
- The board conducts recruitment rallies, tests, and creates uniform selection procedures for enrolling non-officer personnel in the IAF.
- CASB conducts the written exam and physical tests across India.
