Celeste Brown (ice hockey)
Celeste Brown (born May 29, 1992) is an American former professional ice hockey player and the head coach of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Tigers women's hockey team. A forward who shoots right, she was born in Great Falls, Montana.
Brown played college hockey for RIT, helping the team win the NCAA Division III national championship as a freshman and later serving as captain as the program moved to Division I.
She began her professional career in 2015 with the New York Riveters in the NWHL for the 2015–16 season and later joined the Connecticut Whale as a practice player for the 2016–17 season.
Brown also built a coaching career. She was an assistant coach at Connecticut College (2016–2017) and at Penn State (2017–2020). In 2020, she became the head coach of the RIT Tigers women's ice hockey team, the program she played for as a student.
Her head coaching record at RIT is 36–104–13 (.278).
