Cecilia Yip
Cecilia Yip, born Lee Sze Sze on 8 March 1963 in Hong Kong, is a well-known actress across Asia. She began her career in 1982 with the film Nomad, earning a Best New Performer nomination. Yip has appeared in about 45 feature films, plus work on television and stage. She is married to Chan Kwok-hei. Her Chinese name is 葉童 (叶童).
She has won three Hong Kong Film Awards: Best Actress in 1984 for Let’s Make Laugh, Best Supporting Actress in 1990 for Beyond the Sunset, and Best Actress in 1992 for This Thing Called Love. She was also nominated for the 30th Taiwan Golden Bell Award for Best Actress for the 1993 TV series The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, and has acted in four stage plays.
