Casino Tycoon (1992) is a Hong Kong action-drama film written, produced, and directed by Wong Jing. It stars Andy Lau, Joey Wong, and Chingmy Yau. Inspired by the real-life stories of casino figures Stanley Ho, Henry Fok, and Yip Hon, the movie is set during World War II.

Plot
Benny, a young graduate, flees Hong Kong when the Japanese invade and heads to Macau, a gambling stronghold. He starts as a lowly worker (coolie) but earns the respect of a local businessman connected to organized crime. Benny climbs the ranks, facing a rival from his college days and other enemies, as he strives to become a casino tycoon. In the end, he overcomes his rivals but pays a heavy personal price.
