Cascadia Code

Cascadia Code is a monospaced TrueType font designed for Windows Terminal. It adds programming ligatures, which replace common character sequences with single symbols to make code easier to read. It’s meant to improve the look and feel of Windows Terminal, terminal apps, and editors like Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.

The Cascadia Code family includes several typefaces with different weights. The main Cascadia Code and Cascadia Code Powerline are good choices for display text. Except for Cascadia Mono, all variants use ligatures for common character combinations. The family also offers features such as textual arrows, alternate glyphs for control characters, and a cursive italic style in some variants.

Cascadia Code is open-source under the SIL Open Font License and is available on GitHub. It has been bundled with Windows Terminal since version 0.5.2762.0. For more examples and details, see the GitHub README.
