Cagua tree frog (Boana alemani) is a frog found only in Venezuela. It lives in moist lowland forests and near rivers and freshwater marshes, including temporary marshes. It belongs to the Hylidae family. Scientific name: Boana alemani; it was previously called Hypsiboas alemani and described by Rivero in 1964. Its conservation status is Data Deficient (IUCN 3.1), meaning there isn’t enough information to say how threatened it is. The main threat is habitat loss.
