Brendan O'Hara (born 27 April 1963) is a Scottish National Party politician and Member of Parliament. Since 2024 he has represented Argyll, Bute and South Lochaber, a seat created after boundary changes; from 2015 to 2024 he represented Argyll and Bute.

He has held several SNP spokesperson roles in the House of Commons, including Foreign Affairs (2023–2024), International Development (Dec 2022–Jan 2023), Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (2017–2018), and Defence (2015–2017). He was also the SNP Chief Whip in the House of Commons in 2023.

O'Hara was born in Glasgow and studied at St Andrew's Secondary in Carntyne and the University of Strathclyde, where he earned a 2:1 in Economic History and Modern History. Before politics he was a TV producer for STV, Sky Sports and the BBC, creating Road To Referendum (2013), which was BAFTA Scotland-nominated. His other TV credits include Comedy Connections, Movie Connections, The Football Years and Scotland's Greatest Album.

He stood unsuccessfully in Glasgow Springburn (1987) and Glasgow Central (1992). He was elected MP for Argyll & Bute in 2015, defeating Liberal Democrat Alan Reid. He held the seat in 2017 and 2019, and then won the new Argyll, Bute and South Lochaber seat in 2024 with a larger majority.
