Braslaw district is a district in Belarus’ Vitebsk region. The administrative center is the town of Braslaw. It covers 2,270 square kilometers and sits about 131 meters above sea level. In 2023, about 23,428 people lived there, with a population density of around 10.3 people per square kilometer. The time zone is UTC+3 (MSK). The district is famous for its many lakes and includes the Braslaw Lakes National Park, a popular tourist area. The four largest lakes are Dryvyaty (the fifth largest in Belarus), Snudy (the ninth largest), Strusta (the sixteenth largest), and Rychy (the seventeenth largest).
