Brè-Aldesago is a quarter of Lugano in the Swiss canton of Ticino. It sits on the slopes and at the top of Monte Brè and includes two mountain villages: Brè (to the east) and Aldesago (to the west). The area covers about 4.2 square kilometers and had around 1,060 residents in 2011–2012.

Brè-Aldesago used to be its own municipality called Brè until 1972, when it joined Lugano. Brè has been known since at least 1280, and for centuries the local economy relied on farming and livestock. Until 1912, people reached the village on foot or by mule; a road from Lugano via Aldesago opened in 1912, and the Monte Brè funicular began operating to the summit.

Today the area is a scenic residential and resort district. A steep road from Lugano climbs to Aldesago, crosses the southern slopes of Monte Brè to Brè, and another road continues toward the summit. Public transport includes Lugano’s bus route 12 to Brè via Aldesago, and the Monte Brè funicular from Cassarate to the summit, running every half hour.

The Monte Brè summit is a popular tourist spot with expansive views over Lake Lugano and the Alps and several restaurants. Brè village is home to the Wilhelm Schmid Museum, which features works by Wilhelm Schmid and an art trail with works by other artists.
