Boxing at the 1996 Summer Olympics – Light heavyweight
Light heavyweight boxing at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta was held at the Alexander Memorial Coliseum from July 24 to August 4. The event featured 31 competitors from 31 nations. Gold went to Vassili Jirov of Kazakhstan, silver to Seung-Bae Lee of South Korea, and bronzes to Antonio Tarver of the United States and Thomas Ulrich of Germany. The light heavyweight class was for boxers weighing more than 81 kg and was the third-heaviest boxing division at these Games.
