Bob Starkey (born September 7, 1959, in Charleston, West Virginia) is an American college basketball coach and the associate head coach of LSU’s women’s team in the SEC. His career spans four decades, mostly as an assistant, with a brief period as interim head coach.

He began as a men’s assistant at West Virginia State (1984–1987), then coached the Marshall women as an assistant (1988–1989). He moved to LSU in 1990 as a men’s assistant, stayed through 1996, and in 1997 served as an administrative assistant for both LSU programs. From 1998 to 2011 he was an assistant for LSU’s women’s team, the Lady Tigers. In 2007 he served as interim head coach during the NCAA tournament after Pokey Chatman resigned, finishing 4–1 and guiding LSU to the Final Four. He remained at LSU under Van Chancellor after that season.

Starkey then spent 2011–12 at UCF. From 2012–2021 he was an assistant at Texas A&M under Gary Blair, followed by a year at Auburn (2021–22). He returned to LSU in 2022 as associate head coach. His head coaching record is 4–1, from his interim stint in 2007.
