Black War: Mission Extreme 2
Black War: Mission Extreme 2 is a Bangladeshi action thriller and the sequel to Mission Extreme (2021). It is directed by Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed and stars Arifin Shuvoo, Taskeen Rahman, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Sadia Nabila, Misha Sawdagor, and Sumit Sengupta. Produced by COP Creation, it is the second part of a two-film series.
The film runs 130 minutes and is in Bengali. It was released in Bangladesh on January 13, 2023 after a delay from January 6, and opened in 44 cinemas nationwide. The story continues after Mission Extreme.
International releases followed: Australia on February 10, 2023, and the United States on March 31, 2023. It became available on the Bioscope streaming service on April 20, 2023.
Music was composed by Meer Shahriar Hossain Masum and Nadim Bhuiyan. The Daily Star praised the movie for action fans, NatunNews Monitor called it a big improvement over the first film, and Bangla Movie Database gave it 8/10, saying it’s better than Mission Extreme.
