Konstskolan Idun Lovén
Konstskolan Idun Lovén, or Idun Lovén Art School, is a preparatory art school in Stockholm, Sweden. It is named after the artist and former headmistress Idun Lovén. The school has two departments, sculpture and painting, each with about 22 students in two year groups. The maximum time to study is two years. The program includes equal parts painting from a model and sculpting, plus project work. In projects, students can work alone or in small groups on a more demanding task they choose themselves. The school receives government funding and also charges a tuition fee of 7500 SEK per term (as of 2009). Some well-known Swedish artists studied there.
