Bhandal Dona is a village in Kapurthala district, Punjab, India. It is about 12 km from Kapurthala town, the district and sub-district headquarters. The village is governed by a gram panchayat led by an elected Sarpanch under the Panchayati raj system. In 2011, there were 192 households and 1,063 residents (532 men and 531 women). The literacy rate is 77.02%, higher than Punjab’s average of 75.84%. There are 123 children under 6 years old (11.57%), with a child sex ratio of about 1,050, higher than the state average of 846. The nearest airport is Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport. The official language is Punjabi, and Hindi is also spoken.
