Bald Hill is a hill in the Willamette Valley, just west of Corvallis, Oregon. It rises about 755 feet (230 meters) and has a clear summit with great views of Corvallis, Mary’s Peak, the Coastal Range, and the foothills of the Cascade Range. The Bald Hill Natural Area covers 284 acres and has about 10 miles of trails through oak savanna and forest. The area protects local plants and wildlife and is a popular place to hike and enjoy the views. Bald Hill sits at the western edge of the Willamette Valley where it meets the Oregon Coast Range, with Oak Creek and Mulkey Creek separating it from the Coastal Range foothills. The land was bought by the Greenbelt Land Trust in 1990 and turned over to the City of Corvallis in 1993. In 2013, the Greenbelt Land Trust bought nearby Bald Hill Farm, adding more trails and connections to other parks.
