Bagarchhap

Bagarchhap is a village in the Manang District of Nepal’s Gandaki Zone in the northern part of the country. In 1991, 534 people lived there in 116 households. On November 10, 1995, a landslide destroyed most of the village (about 80%), killing 11 residents and 9 trekkers. Many people moved to Danaque to the west, and Bagarchhap became much smaller than before.
