Archery Australia
Archery Australia is the governing body for the sport of archery in Australia. It was founded in Sydney on 17–18 January 1948 as the Archery Association of Australia and adopted the name Archery Australia in 1993. It coordinates eight state and territory federations: Archery NSW, ACT, Archery Victoria, Archery Tasmania, Archery South Australia, Archery Western Australia, Archery North Queensland, and Archery South Queensland.
Leadership and structure: In 2001, the constitution was revised to form a board of four elected and up to three appointed members. Daily operations are led by the Chief Executive Officer, currently Rick Hastie. The President is Robert Fiddyment.
Affiliations: Archery Australia is affiliated with WAFA since 1952 and is part of the Oceania Archery Confederation (OAC).
