Apertura 2021 Liga MX final phase
Apertura 2021 Liga MX final phase ran from November 20 to December 12, 2021, with 12 teams. A reclassification round was used to determine eight teams for the knockout rounds. The knockout stage featured two-legged ties, culminating in a final where Atlas defeated León on penalties after a 3–3 aggregate draw, earning Atlas their second Liga MX title. Both finalists qualified for the 2023 CONCACAF Champions League. In total, 18 matches were played, 43 goals were scored, and attendance totaled 527,242.
