Anna Vitalyevna Sivkova (born 12 April 1982 in Moscow) is a Russian épée fencer who competes for CSKA Moscow. She fights right-handed and is coached by Aleksandr Glazunov.

Sivkova started fencing at age 10 after a family friend introduced her to the sport. She trained at a Moscow sports school, began with foil, and soon moved to épée. She was often the only girl at her club, but enjoyed beating boys. She won the Cadet World Championship in 1997 and earned medals at junior levels, including silver at the 1998 World Youth Games and gold at the 2000 Junior European Championships. She joined Russia’s senior national team in 2001.

Her early success helped Russia win team gold at the World Championships in Nîmes (2001) and Havana (2003). She also earned World Cup podiums and climbed in the world rankings.

At the 2004 Athens Olympics, Sivkova helped Russia win the team épée gold. Her individual result was less successful, and she faced tough moments in the competition. The following years were challenging for Olympic qualification, and fencing for the team at the 2008 Games was not included in the program. In the 2012 London Olympics, she won her first match in the individual event but lost in the next round, and the Russian team did not medal in the team event after a close semifinal against China.

Sivkova took a break from training and returned in early 2013. Later that year, she helped Russia win the team épée gold at the World Championships in Budapest. She had previously become European team champion in 2012 (Legnano).

Anna Sivkova is remembered for her persistence, long career, and her role in Russia’s success in team fencing on the world stage.
