America's Choir
America's Choir: Favorite Songs, Hymns, & Anthems is a 2004 compilation album by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. The choir was nicknamed "America's Choir" by President Ronald Reagan. They have performed at presidential inaugurations for Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump, and at major national events such as the American Bicentennial, the Constitution bicentennial, the 2002 Winter Olympics national anthem, and broadcasts honoring Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy. The album gathers favorite songs, hymns, and anthems from the choir's repertoire, including Cindy (a lively folk song), O Home Beloved (a mournful remembrance), Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing (a tribute to grace), Climb Ev'ry Mountain (dreams not yet realized), and Battle Hymn of the Republic (the choir's famous anthem).
