Alberto Rigoni is an Italian bass guitarist and composer from Montebelluna. He plays hard rock, progressive rock, and heavy metal, and has been making music since 1998. He has released solo albums and played with bands such as Ascra, Twinspirits, BAD As, Bassists Alliance, and Natural Born Machine, while also contributing to many other artists’ recordings.

Rigoni started Ascra in 1998 with drummer Enrico Buttol, mainly performing Dream Theater covers. He joined Twinspirits in 2003, with albums The Music That Will Heal the World (2007), The Forbidden City (2009), and Legacy (2011). His solo career began with Something Different (2008), followed by Rebirth (2011), Three Wise Monkeys (2012), Overloaded (2014), Into the BASS (2015), and BASSORAMA (2016).

In 2016 he founded the metal band BADASS, which released More Pain, More Gain in 2017. The group later became BAD As and released Midnight Curse, touring Europe with Vinnie Moore. In 2017 Rigoni and Jeff Hughell started the Bassists Alliance project, releasing Crush with many guest players. He later teamed with Marco Minnemann for EvoRevolution (2018) and released Prog Injection (2019) with Thomas Lang, followed by Odd Times (2020) with Minnemann and Alexandra Zerner.

Brad As released Crucified Society in 2020, and Rigoni formed Natural Born Machine, whose debut Human arrived in 2021. He has since put out For the Love of BASS (2021), Metal Addicted (2021), Songs for Souls (2022), Grains of Sand (2022), and Unexpected Lullabies (2024). In December 2025, Rigoni joined the Italian metal band Burning Black.
