Adnan Al-Shuaibat
Adnan Mohammad Awad Al-Shuaibat, known as Adnan Awad, is a Jordanian football coach and former defender who played for the Jordan national team.
Born on February 15, 1973, in Amman, Jordan, he stood 1.80 meters tall. He spent most of his playing career with Al-Faisaly Amman (1989–2005), with stints at Kamaz FC (1994–1996) and Al-Muharraq SC (2002). As a defender, he earned 67 caps for Jordan from 1996 to 2004, scoring no goals.
After retiring as a player, he moved into coaching. His managerial career includes Shihan FC (2011), Jordan U17 (2013), Al-Baqa'a SC (2016), Al-Jazeera (2016), and two spells with Al-Faisaly (2017 and 2020–2021).
He retired from playing on August 22, 2011, in Amman at the Amman International Stadium during an international friendly against Tunisia in preparation for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers. During the match, he handed the captaincy to Bashar Bani Yaseen and gave his number 5 jersey to his Al-Faisaly teammate Mohammad Muneer.
