3 Street SW station is a Calgary C-Train stop in downtown Calgary. The eastbound platform is on the south side of 7 Avenue SW. It sits inside the free-fare zone for Routes 201 and 202 and is accessible.

Location and nearby landmarks
- Located at 3 Street SW, near The CORE/TD Square shopping centre.
- The original station opened in 1981 as part of Calgary’s first LRT line. The older station was demolished in 2009 and a new station opened on March 12, 2010.

Structure and ownership
- At-grade station with a single side-loading platform.
- Owned by Calgary Transit.

How it’s used
- Eastbound trains serve this platform. Westbound trains stop at nearby 4 Street SW or 1 Street SW.
- Red Line runs Centre Street toward Somerset–Bridlewood. Blue Line runs Centre Street toward Saddletowne.

Upgrades and safety
- On March 22, 2023, lighting and cameras at this station (and others between City Hall and Downtown West–Kerby) were upgraded to improve safety.

Ridership
- In 2007, the station had about 16,300 average weekday riders.

Future plans
- 7 Avenue SW could host Green Line service toward Shepard in the future.
