2024–25 Sacramento State Hornets men's basketball team

The 2024–25 Sacramento State Hornets men’s basketball team represented California State University, Sacramento in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I season as part of the Big Sky Conference. They played home games at the Hornets Nest in Sacramento. The team was led by interim head coach Michael Czepil, with assistants Hays Myers, Van Green, Elijah Roth, and Zach Chappell. They finished 7–25 overall and 3–15 in Big Sky play. The roster was last updated on October 16, 2024.

Background: In 2023–24, the Hornets went 10–24 overall and 4–14 in the Big Sky, finishing last. They defeated Idaho in the first round of the Big Sky tournament and upset top-seeded Eastern Washington in the quarterfinals before losing to Montana State in the semifinals. In May 2024, head coach David Patrick stepped down to become associate head coach at LSU, and associate head coach Michael Czepil was named interim head coach for the 2024–25 season.
