2024 World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25 m) – Men's 100 metre breaststroke

The Men’s 100 metre breaststroke at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships (short course 25 m) took place at the Duna Arena in Budapest, Hungary. The event ran on 11 December (heats and semifinals) and 12 December (final). A total of 74 swimmers from 67 nations competed.

China’s Qin Haiyang won the gold with a time of 55.47 seconds. Kirill Prigoda, competing as a neutral athlete from Russia, took the silver, and Ilya Shymanovich of Belarus, also competing as a neutral athlete, earned the bronze.

Qin had the fastest qualifying time and an Asian record of 55.61 set in Singapore during the World Cup. The heats began on 11 December at 10:13, the semifinals on 11 December at 18:24, and the final on 12 December at 18:38.
