2020–21 Lamar Lady Cardinals basketball team
The 2020–21 Lamar Lady Cardinals basketball team represented Lamar University in the NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The team was led by second-year head coach Aqua Franklin, with assistants Bianca Smith, Charinee Mitchell, and Hannah Gentry. They played home games at the Montagne Center in Beaumont, Texas as part of the Southland Conference.
They finished 10–14 overall and 9–6 in Southland play, placing fourth in the conference. Their season ended with a loss to Central Arkansas in the Southland Conference tournament quarterfinals. This was Lamar’s last season in the Southland, as the school and three other Texas teams moved to the Western Athletic Conference in July 2021.
In the 2019–20 season, the Lady Cardinals went 10–19 and did not qualify for the Southland tournament.
