The 2020 Air Force Falcons football team represented the United States Air Force Academy in the Mountain West Conference during the 2020 season. Led by 14th-year head coach Troy Calhoun, Air Force finished 3–3 overall and 2–2 in conference play, tying for fifth in the Mountain West. The team played its home games at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Coaching and style: Offensive coordinator Mike Thiessen (12th season) ran a triple‑option offense, while defensive coordinator John Rudzinski (3rd season) led a multiple-base defense.

Season changes due to COVID-19: The original schedule had 12 games (six home, six away). The Mountain West suspended play in August 2020 because of the pandemic. Air Force kept its Army and Navy games to compete for the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy, and nonconference games against Duquesne and Purdue were canceled. When the conference resumed in October, Air Force played six conference games. The Army game, scheduled for November 7, was postponed; the Wyoming and Colorado State games were canceled. The Air Force–Army game was finally moved to December 19 at Michie Stadium.

Preseason notes: The Mountain West media days were canceled, and a preseason poll predicted Air Force would finish third in the Mountain Division (the divisions were later suspended for the 2020 season). Three Falcons players were named to the preseason All‑Mountain West team: Parker Ferguson (OL), Nolan Laufenberg (OL), and Demonte Meeks (LB).
