In Kuwait, 15 clubs competed, divided into two groups instead of three. Kazma SC were the defending champions. The draw was held on July 24. Qadsia SC won the tournament, claiming their fifth title. A total of 20 matches were played and 90 goals were scored (about 4.5 per match).
