2018 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships – Women's 100 metre backstroke
The Women's 100 metre backstroke at the 2018 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships took place on August 10 at the Tokyo Tatsumi International Swimming Center. There were 19 swimmers from 10 countries. The defending champion was Emily Seebohm of Australia. Kylie Masse from Canada won the gold medal with a time of 58.61 seconds, with Emily Seebohm taking silver and Kathleen Baker of the United States earning bronze.
The event schedule had heats in the morning and finals in the evening. The A final and B final were both held on August 10. Up to two swimmers from each country could advance to the A or B finals, and if a country did not qualify any swimmer to the A final, it could still have up to three swimmers in the B final.
